Brownhills Maths and Computing College

Brownhills Maths & Computing College is a progressive co-educational comprehensive school that was awarded specialist college status in 2005.

Our specialist subjects reflect the schools focus but not to the detriment of any other subject. Brownhills recognises the importance of ICT as a tool for life long learning, an essential skill for higher education and an ever increasing requirement of employers. As such, pupils are exposed to ICT as much as possible in all subjects.

Brownhills serves the communities of Dalehall, Goldenhill, Longport, North Burslem, Sandyford, Summerbank and Tunstall. The impressive traditional façade of the school accommodates modern facilities reflecting recent investment in teaching and learning as we strive to equip our pupils with the qualifications and skills required to compete in the changing employment market.

In 2009 Brownhills’ Key Stage 4 results were its best ever with 41% of students gaining at least 5 A* - C GCSEs including Maths and English, and 63% of students gaining at least 5 A* - C GCSEs.
